How I Built a Life I Don’t Want to Escape From

aka the story of how I stopped settling and started actually living

There was a time when I lived for Friday nights… and dreaded Monday mornings.

A time when “winding down” meant wine — lots of it. When I didn’t really feel my life, I just kind of floated through it. I had a good job. I had a decent routine. I had what looked like “enough.” But I was exhausted. Overworked. And deep down, I knew I was meant for more.

The turning point?

Honestly… it was watching Brittany Runs a Marathon. No joke.

It sparked something in me. The smallest shift. But that shift led to everything else.

I started walking. Then I started eating better. Then I cut back on drinking. Then I started feeling better. That one change became the catalyst for the life I have now.

Now? I wake up early on purpose. I walk while listening to a podcast I love. I pour a Fizz instead of a glass of wine. I feel good in my body — and proud of the business I’m building. I help other women create freedom and confidence in their lives, and I truly love what I do.

But none of it happened overnight.

I didn’t snap my fingers and become “that girl.” I made one aligned choice after another. And when I started showing up for me? The entire trajectory of my life changed.

So if you’re reading this and you feel stuck…

Like you’re running on fumes.

Like you want more, but you’re not sure where to start.

Like you’ve checked all the boxes and still feel… unfulfilled?

Here’s what I want you to know:

You don’t have to escape your life — you can rebuild it.

Step by step. Choice by choice. Day by day.

You’re allowed to want more. And you’re allowed to go get it.

This blog? It’s for you.

Let’s glow up — from the inside out.
